M4IPUSB - Unable to Record in Win 11 but can play back
Problem: A customer using a M4IPUSB's USB I/O to record and play back from VoxPro had a problem where they could play back audio but not record. The sample rate for the audio card was correct and Windows Microphone Privacy was set to allow the application to use the microphone.
Solution: After a Windows Update, Spatial Sound was engaged for the USB sound card. Once turned off, the problem went away. This setting is found in the Control Panel under Sound, on the Advanced tab for each record/play device.
If the onboard sound card supports Spatial Sound, Windows will try to enable it for all audio cards.
