Which Blade Models Support AES67?

The following blade models support AES67:

All Blade 3 hardware. The front panel looks like this:

All Blade 4 hardware. The front panel looks like this:

Blade v1/v2 models (identified by having a green LCD alphanumeric display) do not support the RTP protocol necessary to clock AES67 signals. If one of these older models is set to be the clock master in your system, the option to lock the blades to a PTP clock will not appear in Navigator.

You will need to add least one current model Blade 3/Blade 4 and set that to be the clock master in order for the system to lock to PTP and use AES67.

In order for WheatNet-IP to support AES67, the Clock Master Blade locks to the PTP clock, which aligns our signals with the devices from other manufacturers. The rest of the blades on the system lock to the Clock Master Blade via the WNIP Metronome
