How To Reset the Navigator Password
The default password for Navigator is blank; click OK with an empty field to enter if the default has not been changed.
Resetting a lost or forgotten WheatNet-IP Navigator password requires editing the Windows Registry. Back the Registry up and create a system restore point before editing.
To reset the Navigator password, perform the following steps:
- Close Navigator.
- Open the Registry editor (run regedit)
- Find the key: Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Wheatstone\E2\password
- Delete it.
- Exit the Registry editor
- Start Navigator - no password required - just hit Enter key.
