How To Clone A Wheatstone Audio Processor

Congratulations! You’ve spent the time to craft the perfect set of presets for your stations and you now want to give all your stations a uniform sound. Here is how to clone your settings from one processor to another:
  1.  Make sure that *all* target processors are running the same version of firmware as the host
  2. Using the GUI connected to the Host, open the Library dialog.
  3. Make a new folder under Favorite Preset Folders on the right (right click, New Folder).
  4. Copy *all* user presets from the host to the new folder just created under Favorites.
  5. Right click on the new folder and select Build Preset Package. When asked where to store it, select the Desktop.
  6. Assuming all target processors are now running the same firmware version as the host, create a New Device for each processor having a different IP address than the host.
  7. One by one, connect to the target processor.
  8. Once again open the GUI's Library dialog.
  9. Right click the Favorites folder and select Install Preset Package.
  10. Once the host's presets appear in the window below Favorites, drag them over to empty preset slots on the target processor(s).
Once the host's presets are available on each target hardware they may be selected/put on the air in the normal way.
NotesThis routine works for all Wheatstone audio processors. The only caveat is that firmware cannot cross-pollinate between product names (i.e. MP-532 cannot install and run FM-55 firmware) and an error will occur if attempting to do so, nor will the update process continue past the error.
