All Blades Appear Disconnected in Navigator/Navigator Sees No Blades But You Can Ping Them

Problem: No blades show in Navigator. After a bit, you can click OK and the tabs appear, but there are no blades in the list. You can see them in locator but not in the system dock.

Possibility #1: Navigator is looking at an old IP address. Go to the Preferences tab. Under Network, click Set, Pick the network card for the WNIP network. You will be prompted to restart Navigator, and when it does, the blades will appear.

(Note: you need to be running the program as Administrator for the Set button to be accessible.)

Possibility #2: The Windows Firewall is blocking Navigator from seeing the blades. Windows will put the WNIP into the public firewall profile, which is the most restrictive. Go to Control Panel in Windows, and open the Windows Firewall. On the left, choose Advanced Settings. Choose Inbound Rules. Find the entry for wheatnetipnavigator in the public profile (it will have a red circle and slash instead of a green dot). Double-click it to edit. You will be on the General tab. Choose Allow the connection and click Apply. Click Ok. Blades will immediately pop up.

Notes
While you’re in the Firewall settings, look for other WheatNet-IP applications, like the console setup programs. If the public profile is set to block traffic, you’ll need to allow connections for those programs to work, too.
